Founder and Principal psychologist, Steven Colbran, is a registered psychologist who provides support and psychological interventions to children, adolescents and adults. Steven is authentic and empowering in his approach to clients.
A values-based natural rapport builder with expertise spanning various life circumstances and experiences. Steven emphasises getting to know the individual in all situations. He builds a strong therapeutic relationship, spending time connecting with clients, while maintaining a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of ethical and professional psychological services.
Steven supports clients with anxiety and depression, grief and loss, adjustment and stress management, and self-worth and self-esteem, particularly through changing periods in one’s life circumstances and self-identity.
Steven is an empathetic listener and can proactively support clients in a problem-solving-based approach. Steven encourages his clients to take the next steps in the betterment of their mental health and ability to tackle life’s daily challenges.
Steven also pursues professional experience and development in the area of criminology and forensics, where he has a passion for early intervention and risk reduction, especially for young people and in the restorative justice space. Steven further enjoys using his previous HR career to work with clients and encourage their personal and professional development throughout various stages of their careers and family life circumstances.
